GarLyn Zoo Raises Orphan Red Fox

In June of 2006 three orphan red fox were brought to GarLyn Zoo and with the DNR's permission we raised them. All three did great and were a nice addition for the summer. Then in early October the DNR released them back to the wild. Two of the fox lost their mother to a train near Manistique and the other lost its mother  to a vehicle on m-117 near Engadine.
All three were around 5 - 6 weeks old when we first got them.
