We have several alpaca and you can purchase grain to hand feed them. They are very gental about eating out of your open palm and use thier lips like fingers to remove the grain. Alpaca are like a small version of the Llama but much in my opinion, much cuter. They both come from South American and are mainly raised here in the U.S. as pets and for their wool. These will be a great addition for children to feed and pet.
